Oscar is Nine Months Old - Happy Father's Day!

Today Oscar pulled himself up to standing for the very first time. We don't know where he gets these ideas. He was just sitting there on the floor, playing with his toys, when all of a sudden he looked taller. Way taller. He was just standing there, staring us down, waiting for us to congratulate him. So cool. Here's the latest.

What he's doing:

• Moving around the room by pulling and scooting and not crawling.
• Eating FRESH Alaskan salmon!
• Participating in the library's "Summer Read-to-Me Program." He's already completed his first prize chart :)
• As of today, pulling to standing.
• Initiating peek-a-boo. It's funny because we'll be doing something else (boring), and then his little head will pop out from around a corner (way fun)!

Likes:

• Wrestling with Gabe, and generally treating him like a jungle gym.
• Grapes and avocados.
• His toys... he's really into them right now.
• Airplanes.
• Kicking a** in the Summer Read-to-Me Program (Gabe contributed this one).
• Posing naked. We learned this one while getting pictures taken for Gabe for Father's Day.
• Peeing while posing naked... don't ask.
• We'd better save something for next time.

Dislikes:

• Sleeping past 4 am. Life is ducky in the Land of the Midnight Sun.
