Things Are Looking Up

We've been in Pennsylvania for just over a week now, and Oscar is getting acclimated to his new surroundings. Some of his favorite things about it here are:

• The construction workers/heavy equipment at our temporary housing development. I'm sure they really appreciate it when he points to them, claps, and yells, "BRRRRRR!!!!!!"
• The "big kids" in our neighborhood. Last night they knocked on the door to see if we could come out to play; I guess Gabe and I were invited because we're a package deal. :)
• The playgrounds. They're everywhere.

Move Day

Oscar spent the majority of the day hanging out in his closet and getting reacquainted with his infant car seat. Oh, the guilt.

Lunas on the Move

That's right. Gabe got a new job, and we are relocating to a magical place they call Pennsylvania. In eight days. Crazy.

Also, here is a picture of Oscar riding his fire truck. This is how we roll in Alaska.

First Haircut

Well (sigh), we finally bid adieu to the baby mullet and took O for his very first haircut.

Exciting Times on the Last Frontier

Homer!

Gabe had a field trip in Homer this week, and Oscar and I decided to join him. We had a great time, putting some more miles on O's sled and checking out the wildlife. The cabin we stayed in was situated on a bluff over Kachemak Bay. It came complete with it's own petrified whale vertebra (eek!) and resident moose.





I took Oscar to the Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center. He quickly decided that the only thing of interest inside was the garbage can, so we frolicked outside instead.
